Montreal singer/songwriter Daniel Casavant has been composing music since taking up the acoustic guitar at the age of eight. By 15, Daniel began playing the piano and continued to express himself by writing original tunes from observations of life around him.

Stylistically influenced by music heard on English radio, barely out of his teens, Daniel had a great desire to discover the roots of the music he so loved. So, he hitchhiked down to New Orleans and Nashville seeking out every opportunity to jam with local talents, while absorbing all the knowledge these veteran musicians had to share.

Creating music is in Daniel’s DNA. In 2009, Daniel realized his musical dream with his first studio recordings, Nine At The Time. His rich, haunting voice met with critical acclaim including a rave review in Cashbox Canada. The album received international airplay and garnered a number of accolades including The Billboard Magazine World Song Contest, The Mountain Stage Newsong Contest 2008, The UK Songwriting Contest 2009 and Mike Pinder’s 2009 Songwars.

Daniel’s latest offering Soul Reunion is a five-song, mini EP of original tunes penned solely by this talented musician. In this EP the singer/songwriter takes you on a personal life’s journey through the tracks of Soul Reunion…”When Time’s Runnin’ Out”, “Park And Fly”, “More Than A Lover”, “Two Times One Of A Kind (In Your World)” and “Heavenly High” (Live). The song “Park And Fly” recently received an honorable mention from the Song of the Year Songwriting Contest.

Tiger Roberts has been in the game for a while. He is a Grammy award winning producer, musician, writer, and singer. Now he is stepping out into the spotlight with creation of his own project, New World Order.

Tiger is funky old school swag with a new jack twist. Here is some Press about Tiger:

“Chicago based Tiger’s voice draws you in, never shows off, always taking you to the right place. “Since U Been Gone” shows a soulfully im- pressive vocal range, from falsetto to baritone, and a fine, wailing guitar coda. The song’s winning hook and dramatic feel make it a good candidate for film/TV. The similar “Hands Down” deploys a whispery falsetto and a memorable chorus. While there’s deft vocal layering on these recordings, we can only imagine how good his guitars would sound if Tiger got out of his cage and into a proper studio.”

I love music, I love Indie Artists and I especially love Talented Indies I can claim as “Homies”. One such person is Veronique. She is not only talented but anointed.

Her music is her ministry. God blessed her with not just the voice and melodies, but the ability to minister and console with her music. I had been a fan before I had the privilege of meeting her in person, since then my admiration has only grown, She is a soft spoken, God fearing woman filled with love. She makes you feel like you’ve met an old friend. She is supportive of her fellow Artists and loves her fans. Her song Use Me is one of my favorites by her, and after she explained how it came to be, as many of her songs do, I am even more appreciative of it and her, as well as her awesome talent. Veronique remains a humble and thankful Artists. She knows where her talent comes from and uses it to inspire us. Temika Moore is both Covergirl beautiful and so very talented. When you hear her voice, you know your hearing something special.

Temika joined Diana Broomfield on Conversations and shared her thoughts, her music and her aspirations. We would put her in the category with Michele Ferrell.

I have known Glenn Gordon for a few years now. We met when he joined my social network Internet Marketers Network on the Ning platform. He was the first talented musical artists to join us there. After him there were several that joined and thus led me to start a Music hour on Conversations which was then on Blogtalk Radio.

Through the years we have become the best of friends, actually, more like family. He is the big brother I never had. Thus, it gives me pride to see him come into his own. You may know that he is an Inventor, and and Author, but his passion is MUSIC.

His Latest Release, Exposures, is being well received. So well, in fact, that he will soon be opening for Legendary, Archie Bell.

During the interview, we got to speak with promoter Debbie Dixon and the man himself, Archie Bell. Archie was most complementary to Glenn.

Terri Tobin

Terri Tobin has known since she was a young girl. Like many Soul Singers, she got her first taste of performing in the Church. She says she used to listen and sing toNatalie Cole Records. She got her first professional gig at the age of 10, when she was chosen to sing background for Jeffery Osborne. She continued her musical
training at Howard University in Washington D.C. and it was during that time she gained stage experience performing with the school’s Chorale and performing background vocals for Diana Ross. Terri has shared the stage with the likes of Patti Labelle, Luther Vandross and Shai and many more.

Terri got her her first taste of the nightclub scene at Takoma Station, while residing in Washington D.C. It was pleasure to speak with Terri and share music from 2 of her projects, Love Infinity and So Good To Me, both can be purchased on cdbaby.com.

In 2011 Terri Tobin was nominated for both SoulTracks Readers’ Choice Award and Independent Music Award.
